It is the most wonderful time of the year ... really?

I have been super busy this past month. Try to stretch my dollars to get Christmas gifts is time consuming!  But I am nearly done- just one or two last things to go and track down.

Baking Cookies

I have been baking like a mad woman! Here is what we have cranked out of our humble kitchen:
-Peanut Clusters
-Sugar Cookies
-Ginger Bars
-Peanut Blossoms
-Soft Ginger cookies
-Turtles
-Peppermint Popcorn
-Christmas Crack
-Buckeyes
I know that I am forgetting something, but at least you get the idea! To make up for my absence, I will post the top secret (not really, it just sounds cooler that way) recipe for Peanut Clusters.

Peanut Clusters

2 jars salted roasted peanuts
1 package almond bark
2/3 cup sifted powdered sugar
2/3 cup chunky peanut butter

Melt the almond bark over very low heat, stirring often to avoid scorching. Stir in sifted powdered sugar and then the peanut butter until smooth and shiny. Remove from the heat. Stir in all the peanuts until they are well coated. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper. Let the candies sit until the chocolate has set up. Remove and store in air tight container.
